This city truly has something for everyone, and I can’t wait to return and explore even more of its hidden gems. The Castle Park provided a fun-filled day of mini-golf and rides, while the Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center sparked my curiosity with its fascinating exhibits.Īs I reflect on my time in Riverside, I can’t help but feel grateful for the memories I made and the experiences I had. I spent an evening at the Van Buren Drive-In Theatre, a classic American experience, and cooled off at The Cove Waterpark. The Riverside Art Museum and California Museum of Photography showcased stunning exhibits, while the University of California Riverside Botanic Gardens offered a serene escape into nature. The California Citrus State Historic Park was a highlight of my trip, where I learned about the rich history of the citrus industry in the region. The Mount Rubidoux Park provided a breathtaking view of the city, and the Riverside National Cemetery offered a peaceful and solemn space for reflection. The scent of citrus trees filled the air, and the sound of live music echoed from the Fox Performing Arts Center.
